14th Annual Business Expo and Jobs Fair

The Annual Business Expo and Jobs Fair is presented by the South Alabama Regional Planning Commission (SARPC) Employment and Economic Development Services Department. The SARPC Employment and Economic Development Services Department staff is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the event that has grown to be the largest, most comprehensive Jobs Fair in the region.

Recent Jobs Fairs offered onsite registration for Alabama Joblink with the Alabama Career Center and seminars on Resume Development, Job Search Skills and Interview Techniques. Seminar facilitators and job counselors are available to assist job seekers and maximize opportunities to meet with 80 to 120 employers that participate in the Jobs Fair each year. Training providers and area educational institutions attend and support the event.

The Business Expo and Jobs Fair promotes the economy of the region by providing a venue for participating businesses to showcase products and services. The event also provides companies the opportunity to network with community leaders. Attendance the past three years has averaged 4000.
